Parisa is a stills photographer for film and television. She has had an extensive and varied career working with directors such as Jane Campion, Sally Potter, Michael Winterbottom, Edgar Wright and Steve McQueen on both studio and independent productions.
After graduating from art school at Bath Spa University, she worked in production, then later as an arts publicity photographer for organisations such as Artangel and the Serpentine Gallery in London. She was given her first job as a stills photographer on Winterbottom’s award winning film, IN THIS WORLD and continues to work in this capacity today. She has lived and worked in California and New Zealand and is now based back in the UK.
Her clients have included Focus Features, Universal, Sundance, BBC, Pathe, Studio Canal, Sony, Amnesty International, MTV and Havana Club. Outside of her assignments, Parisa has her own art practice working with issues of personal and cultural identity.
She has exhibited her work internationally and won first place for her series BOY in the PRIDE PHOTO AWARD 2014.
